Mozart's Flute Concertos K. 313 and K. 314 were commissioned by Ferdinand Dejean, a 'Dutch-Indian' amateur musician, for 200 florins, but Mozart only received half due to his adaptation of existing works.

Ana de la Vega, the soloist on this recording, discovered the 'lost' Mysliveček Flute Concerto in the Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra's library and premiered it in London in 2010.
