This album features two historical keyboards: a Berner Tangentenflügel (late 18th century) and a Maucher pantalon (c. 1780), both restored by Pooya Radbon.

Performer Biography

Michael Tsalka holds three degrees from Temple University: Master's degrees in both chamber music and harpsichord performance, and a Doctorate in piano performance.

Composition History

The album includes a world premiere recording of Franz Beyer's 1995 completion and piano arrangement of Mozart's ballet-pantomime, Pantalon und Colombine, K. 446-Fs.
