Peter Kofler chose to record this complete Bach organ works project on a 'modern' organ, rather than historical instruments, due to its rich colors and inexhaustible possibilities.

The recording uses the AURO 3D (10.1) format with a sampling rate of 192 kHz, employing 10 discrete channels and three height layers for a spatial effect.
Interpretation
Unlike other complete Bach recordings, Peter Kofler's approach is less schematic, focusing on creating a self-contained, coherent, and musically conclusive program arc for each CD.
