Trio Contrasti was founded in spring 2021 and quickly achieved recognition, reaching the final of the 'hmt-Musikpreis' competition by summer of the same year.

Since April 2022, Trio Contrasti has been pursuing a master's degree in chamber music at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg, under the guidance of Prof. Niklas Schmidt.
