Performer Biography

The Lago-Navarro piano duo, formed in 1997 by Spanish pianists Juan Lago and Belén Navarro, trained at the Sweelinck Conservatorium in Amsterdam.

Composition History

Many of the works on this album, including the three French pieces, were originally conceived for two pianos before being orchestrated.

The Lago-Navarro duo has performed internationally across Europe, the United States, and the Middle East, with a repertoire ranging from Bach to Lutosławski.
