Composition History
The title 'Dumky Trio' for Dvořák's Piano Trio No. 4, Op. 90, originated with Dvořák himself, unlike most descriptive titles for musical works.

Performer Biography
Andreas Janke, the 1st concertmaster of the Zürich Tonhalle Orchestra, plays a Carlo Bergonzi violin from 1733-39, made available by Mercedes-Benz Automobil AG, Zürich.
Composer Biography
Antonín Dvořák, composer of the Piano Trio No. 4, Op. 90 'Dumky', was the son of an innkeeper and butcher.
