Performer Biography
Stanisław Skoczyński, the percussionist, is the last student of the legendary teacher Mikołaj Stasiniewicz, and is now a professor of percussion at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music.
Composition History
The creation and premiere of Stanisław Moryto's Suite for string orchestra was funded by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage as part of a compositional commissions program.
Performer Biography
Anna Sikorzka-Olek, the harpist, was the first in Poland to perform and record several concertos for harp, including works by Tadeusz Paciorkiewicz and Piotr Moss.
