Violist David Aaron Carpenter has reworked Vivaldi's Four Seasons for viola and strings, allowing the music to be heard with a distinct but closely related voice.

Alexey Shor, a Russian-American composer, is the composer-in-residence with the Salomé Chamber Orchestra, for whom he has written numerous pieces since 2013.
Compositional Technique
Leonid Desyatnikov's arrangement of Piazzolla's Seasons brings them closer to Vivaldi's by interposing references to the Venetian's original concertos, such as injecting motifs from Vivaldi's 'Winter' into Piazzolla's 'Summer'.
