Ian Venables, the composer, studied music at Trinity College of Music, London, and later at the Birmingham Conservatoire.
Performer Biography
Graham J. Lloyd, the pianist, began his piano studies at the age of 14 and gave his debut recital in Liverpool just four years later.

Ian Venables has significantly contributed to the English art song genre, having written over 60 works in this form, including seven song-cycles.
