Leonardo Vinci was a Neapolitan composer, highly influential to Handel and other composers of Italian opera. The star countertenor Franco Fagioli follows his popular Handel album with a collection entirely devoted to Vinci. He is partnered by the period ensemble Il pomo d’oro and their leader Zefira Valova.
