Peter V. Swendsen, the composer, spent a year as a Fulbright Fellow at the NoTAM studios in Oslo, Norway, working on a project based in soundscape composition and ecoacoustics.

Dana Jessen, the bassoonist, is the founder and artistic director of the New Music Bassoon Fund, which commissioned 'Rushes,' an hour-long composition for seven bassoons by Michael Gordon.
