Performer Biography
The current lineup of Trio Sōra, featuring Pauline Chenais (piano), Angèle Legasa (cello), and Fanny Fheodoroff (violin), formed in 2022, with Chenais and Legasa having been friends since their time at the Paris Conservatoire.
Interpretation
Trio Sōra aims to refresh the colors of great repertoire works, moving away from conventional interpretations and preconceptions to bring a luminous and invigorated sound to their performances.
Performer Biography
Trio Sōra, a female piano trio founded in 2015, chose their name, which means 'bird that sings as it takes flight' in Native American and 'sky' in Japanese, to reflect their poetic and sisterly bond.

This album is Trio Sōra's second complete recording of a major composer's piano trios, following their highly acclaimed debut album of Beethoven's complete trios in 2020.
