Historical Context
The Maladrerie Saint-Lazare de Beauvais is one of the few remaining examples of 12th and 13th-century hospital architecture, originally a leper hospital.

The barn at the Maladrerie Saint-Lazare de Beauvais, where some of these recordings were made, offers exceptional acoustics thanks to its 13th-century wooden framework.

Historical Context
The Théâtre de Coulommiers, an Italian-styled theatre built in 1904, was registered on the French Supplementary Historical Monument List in 1994 due to its original machinery.
