This album features the world premiere of the second movement of Granados's Violin Sonata, 'Scherzo-Allegro,' which was found complete in a manuscript at the Museu de la Música in Barcelona.

Carles Puig, the violinist on this album, plays a violin made by Giuseppe Fiorini in 1930, and Esther García, the cellist, plays a cello by Hendrik Woldring from 2006.
