Paul Juon's Symphony in F# minor, Op. 10, was long thought lost until a grandson of the composer rediscovered it in 1997.

Sergei Rachmaninoff, a year younger than Paul Juon, also attended the theory and composition lessons of Anton Arensky and Sergei Taneyev.
