This album was recorded at Skywalker Sound in Nicasio, California, in November 2002 and October 2003, using a Blüthner Concert Grand Piano.
Performer Biography
Jungran Kim Khwarg, the pianist, was a child prodigy who debuted at the National Civic Theater at age eight and won a scholarship from the President of Korea to attend Juilliard.

Eleven of the eighteen impromptus on this album are world premiere recordings.
Cultural Impact
Chopin's Fantaisie-Impromptu, Opus 66, was so popular that it was featured in the 1945 film 'Song to Remember' and inspired the 1918 Broadway song 'I'm Always Chasing Rainbows'.
