Performer Biography
Ksenia Kouzmenko, the pianist, was born in Minsk, Belarus, into a family of pianists and made her solo debut with an orchestra at the age of twelve.
Interpretation
For this recording, Ksenia Kouzmenko made changes to Roger-Ducasse's arrangement of Debussy's Lindaraja by consulting Debussy's original four-hands manuscript.
Instruments
The album was recorded on a Grand Érard piano, a London 1863 model, chosen for its clear and characteristic sound, which is considered perfectly suitable for the coloristic properties and expression of Spanish and South American music.

Ksenia Kouzmenko has taught at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague since 1999 and is known for her sensitive and technically accomplished piano playing.
Recording & Production
This album is a continuation of Ksenia Kouzmenko's previous CD, 'Ranges of Érard', and aims to create a 'labyrinthine program' where listeners can choose different paths after each piece.

Ksenia Kouzmenko received financial support from the Yuri Egorov Foundation for her postgraduate studies at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague.
