Performer Biography
Daniel Beckmann, the cathedral organist and professor of organ in Mainz, has been actively involved in shaping the creation process of the new Mainz Cathedral organ.

The new main organ in the east choir of Mainz Cathedral is inspired by the sound aesthetics of Aristide Cavaillé-Coll, a significant 19th-century French organ builder.
Recording & Production
This album is a live recording of the organ dedication of the new Mainz Cathedral organs, which took place between August 21 and 23, 2022.
Instruments
The Mainz Cathedral organ is designed as a 'sounding trinity' with three separate installations: in the west choir, St. Mary's Chapel, and the east choir.
Instruments
The organ consoles at Mainz Cathedral feature a world-first synchronization technology that adjusts sound delivery based on listener position, eliminating echo effects in the large space.
