The Marsyas Trio, composed of flautist Helen Vidovich, cellist Valerie Welbanks, and pianist Olga Stezhko, aims to revive forgotten repertoire and inspire new works through commissions.
Composer's Artistic Vision
Finnissy's early songs, dating from ages 13 to 25, are personal records of visits or friends, musically resembling the work of his composer-hero Charles Ives.
