The Reverie Piano Duo, consisting of Rozalia Kierc and Maria Moliszewska, was formed in 2020 and is mentored by Bartłomiej Wezner at the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz.
Composition History
Witold Lutosławski's Variations on a Theme by Paganini was written in 1941 for his piano duo with Andrzej Panufnik, to be performed in cafes during the German occupation of Poland.
Performer Biography
The Reverie Piano Duo won Second Prize in the chamber ensembles category at the 3rd International Competition of Polish Music in Rzeszów in 2023.
