Composer Biography
Mozart composed his first symphony, K. 16, at just eight years of age in 1764 during his family's Grand Tour in London.
Instruments
Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 23 is performed on a replica of an 1823 Conrad Graf fortepiano.

The performers, Il Pomo d'Oro, use period instruments to gain insight into what Mozart himself must have heard.
