Performer Biography
Septura, the brass septet performing on this album, includes Alan Thomas and Simon Cox on trumpets, Huw Morgan on E flat trumpet, Peter Smith on tuba, Matthew Gee and Matthew Knight on trombones, and Dan West on bass trombone.
Interpretation
The album features arrangements of sacred choral works by Renaissance masters Victoria, Gabrieli, Palestrina, and Lassus for brass septet.
