Performer Biography

Marie-Claudine Papadopoulos, the violinist on this recording, plays a Petrus Guarnerius violin from 1745, which was lent to her by the Landessammlung of Baden-Württemberg.

The works on this CD were chosen to reflect the performers' understanding of heritage and renewal, tradition and modernism, influenced by their Syrian-Greek origins and birthplaces in France and the USA.
