Composition History
The collection "A Calendar Set" was initially written by Judith Lang Zaimont for her personal use, but later gained critical acclaim and publication after winning the Jabez Press Composition Invitational Competition in 2005.

This recording was made possible in part by an Artist Initiative Grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board.

Judith Lang Zaimont has won over 25 awards, including a Copland Award and a Guggenheim Fellowship, and her music is the subject of a dozen doctoral dissertations.
